John Lynch

John Lynch starred at Stanford University as both a quarterback and safety before embarking on a 15-year NFL career. Known for his toughness and leadership, he was a nine-time Pro Bowler and helped anchor the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defense en route to a Super Bowl XXXVII title.


After retiring, John transitioned to broadcasting as a respected NFL analyst before becoming General Manager of the San Francisco 49ers in 2017. Under his leadership, the team has returned to championship contention, highlighted by multiple NFC Championship appearances and a Super Bowl berth.


Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021, John is recognized as one of the game’s all-time great safeties and a top executive in today’s NFL.


He lives in the Bay Area with his wife, Linda, and their four children, and remains deeply committed to family, football, and community impact.
