James Carlos McFall

James Carlos McFall, known affectionately as “Los” or “C-Los” by friends and teammates, is a partner at the Dallas and San Francisco offices of the international law firm Foley & Lardner LLP. McFall’s practice focuses on sports, media, and entertainment. He has gained significant notoriety for his successful representation of financial institutions, media networks, and high-profile athletes, including Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud, Seattle Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Savannah James, and Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush. McFall played defensive back for Stanford from 2004 to 2007. A graduate of Stanford University (B.A. & M.A.) and the Washington University School of Law, McFall was named to Woodard/White Inc.’s list of The Best Lawyers in America for his accomplishments in First Amendment law and is a finalist for Law.com’s Entertainment Lawyer of the Year Award.
